Tag Markets Appoints Craig Lund as CEO in Strategic Shift to Operational Discipline

Summary
Online trading provider Tag Markets has named Craig Lund as its new Chief Executive Officer, signaling a strategic pivot from rapid growth to strengthening its operational foundations and client experience.
Tag Markets has appointed financial services veteran Craig Lund as its new Chief Executive Officer, a move signaling the firm's strategic shift toward enhancing operational discipline and client services. Lund will lead the online trading provider's executive team and guide its next phase of development, the company announced on Thursday.
Veteran Leadership Tapped for New Role
Lund brings over fifteen years of experience in financial services, with a focus on regulated digital assets, operations, and governance. His career includes senior leadership positions at prominent financial institutions and digital-asset firms, demonstrating a track record of scaling regulated businesses.
His previous experience includes roles at:
- Merrill Lynch
- BitOasis, where he helped scale the business and secure one of the first in-principle approvals from Abu Dhabi Global Market.
- MidChains, where he contributed to building an over-the-counter (OTC) desk that achieved multi-billion-dollar volume within its first year.
- M2, where he led the operational structure for the launch of a globally regulated exchange and custody platform.
A Strategic Pivot to Client Experience
AdThe appointment marks a deliberate change in focus for Tag Markets, moving from a primary emphasis on growth to fortifying the operational and service frameworks that directly impact clients. The company stated that Lund's mandate is to prioritize measures like withdrawal processing speed and customer support responsiveness.
"A broker earns trust in the moments a client feels, not in the ones it advertises," Lund said in the announcement. "My focus is on the operating discipline, the governance and the client experience that let a firm grow across markets without losing the confidence of the people it serves."
Lund's agenda is defined by three core priorities: establishing clear operating standards, ensuring the resilience of trade execution and pricing, and using client service feedback as a key source of management information for continuous improvement.
