Outpoll Adds Perpetual Futures Trading to Its Prediction Market Platform

Outpoll has launched an integrated perpetual futures trading venue, expanding its platform beyond event-based prediction markets. The new service allows users to trade a range of assets, including cryptocurrencies and stock indices, from a single account and unified balance, according to a company announcement on Tuesday.
Unifying Event Forecasting and Asset Trading
The Seychelles-based company stated its new feature is embedded directly into its existing ecosystem, aiming to streamline the workflow for traders acting on real-world events. The integration allows a user to speculate on an event's outcome, such as a central bank decision, and simultaneously trade a related asset, like a stock index, without switching platforms.
Outpoll highlighted that this bridges a common gap between prediction venues, which focus on market sentiment around events, and derivatives platforms, which are built for trading price action. The new model consolidates both functions into a single interface with a shared account balance.
Available Markets and Features
The platform now offers perpetual futures, which have no expiration date, with leverage of up to 100x. The contracts are quoted against the stablecoins USDT and USDC.
AdAvailable asset classes include:
- Cryptocurrencies: More than 80 pairs, including Bitcoin (BTC) and Monero (XMR).
- Stocks and Indices: Over 20 pairs, featuring contracts for Apple (AAPL), Microsoft (MSFT), and the SPX500.
- Commodities: Four pairs, such as crude oil.
The service includes standard professional trading tools, such as isolated and cross margin, one-way and hedge modes, and a public API for algorithmic strategies. The trading interface incorporates TradingView charts and a calculator to estimate liquidation prices before order placement.
Availability and Inherent Risks
The futures trading functionality is now live on the Outpoll website and its application on Google Play, according to the company. The firm's announcement also noted that trading perpetual futures with high leverage carries a significant level of risk and may not be suitable for all investors.
