Webull to Launch AI-Assisted Trading in Canada via ChatGPT and Claude Integration

Webull's Canadian clients will soon be able to use AI assistants like ChatGPT and Claude to research markets and prepare trades directly from their brokerage accounts. The move, confirmed by the company, marks an expansion of the retail brokerage's AI-driven services beyond the United States.
AI Integration Details
Webull Securities (Canada), a subsidiary of the Nasdaq-listed Webull Corporation (BULL), said the new feature will let investors connect their accounts to several major large language models, including ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, and Grok. The integration runs on the Model Context Protocol, an open standard allowing AI assistants to interact with other applications using plain-language prompts.
According to the announcement, users will be able to perform several functions from within the chat interface:
- Access real-time market data
- Check account balances and positions
- Analyze investment portfolios
- Prepare trade orders
The company stressed that while an AI assistant can prepare a trade, the order is not executed until the investor reviews and confirms it on the Webull platform. The full rollout to all eligible Canadian accounts is expected to be completed by early November.
AdStrategic Context and Market Position
This launch extends a similar cloud-based service that Webull recently expanded for its U.S. users, highlighting the firm's strategic focus on integrating generative AI into its trading platform. Webull's global platform is said to have more than 29 million registered users.
"Advanced market research used to take expensive tools or hours of work. Today, Canadian investors can run that analysis on their portfolios, in their own words,” said Michael Constantino, chief executive of Webull Canada.
The expansion comes as Webull Corporation's shares have fallen 30.6% year-to-date. The company has also recently been scrutinized by a U.S. House committee report over its alleged links to China, findings which the company has disputed.
