SanDisk Stock Rallies on Bullish Analyst Calls and Favorable Market Dynamics

SanDisk (SNDK) shares jumped 5.1% in morning trading to reach $1,815, staging a sharp rebound from a recent correction that had erased approximately a quarter of the stock's value from its all-time high in June.
Wall Street Reinforces Bullish Stance
The rally was supported by a series of positive analyst notes. Goldman Sachs analyst James Schneider reiterated a Buy rating and a $2,200 price target in an earnings preview, according to Investing.com. Schneider anticipates "a very strong quarter driven by continued NAND supply tightness" ahead of SanDisk's fiscal report scheduled for August 13.
The Goldman analyst's adjusted earnings-per-share estimate for the 2026 calendar year is nearly 30% above the Wall Street consensus, citing tight supply and growing design wins for its enterprise solid-state drives (SSDs) with major hyperscale cloud providers. The optimism was echoed by Bernstein, which issued a new Buy rating on July 8. These calls add to a cluster of bullish price targets, including $2,500 from Bank of America and $3,000 from Bernstein set in late June and early July.
AdFavorable Fundamentals and Technical Rebound
Underlying market conditions appear to support the positive outlook. Research from Bernstein indicated that contract prices for NAND memory chips continue to show significant increases, with strong demand from the server market absorbing available supply. Analysts view this structural backdrop as a key tailwind for SanDisk.
Today's move also represents a technical recovery from what the source described as deeply oversold conditions. The stock had declined sharply in the prior week, a move partly attributed to a "sell-the-news" reaction across the memory sector following Samsung's second-quarter earnings report. The rally was aided by a constructive broader market, though investor caution remains following recent Federal Reserve minutes that noted growing inflation concerns.
