Paybis Upgrades Crypto On/Off-Ramp With PayPal Integration and New Developer Tools

Crypto infrastructure provider Paybis has announced a series of upgrades to its on- and off-ramp solution, adding PayPal as a payment method for U.S. users and releasing new tools designed to accelerate integration for its business partners.
In a statement on August 31, the company outlined the updates, which aim to improve the user experience and streamline both partner onboarding and regulatory compliance.
Streamlined Integration and Payment Options
The most significant updates are aimed at improving the ease and speed of using the Paybis platform for both partners and their end-users. Key changes include:
- New Developer Kit: The release of a new React Native SDK (Software Development Kit) is intended to reduce the integration time for partners building on mobile apps to a matter of minutes.
- PayPal for U.S. Users: Paybis has added PayPal as a payment option in the United States, providing customers with a familiar and trusted method for a faster checkout process.
- Performance Enhancements: The company also noted loading-time improvements across its iOS, Android, and web platforms.
Enhanced Compliance Features
AdPaybis is also advancing its compliance infrastructure to help partners navigate evolving regulations, particularly concerning the Financial Action Task Force's Travel Rule. The company is introducing a feature that allows partners using custodial wallets to provide required compliance information before the user begins a transaction.
This backend process is designed to reduce friction during the checkout flow for the end-user. Paybis stated it is also developing improvements for unhosted wallet flows to make data collection more seamless. These changes support the company's strategy of offering "headless integrations," where Paybis manages the underlying compliance and payment infrastructure while partners control the user-facing brand and experience.
Company Outlook
According to Julia Kovalchuk, Head of B2B Product at Paybis, the strategy is twofold. "Our focus is twofold: making the On/Off Ramp easier for partners to integrate and build with, while continuing to raise the bar on compliance without compromising the user experience," she said in the announcement.
Kovalchuk added that Paybis aims to absorb regulatory complexity into its own infrastructure. This approach is intended to allow partner businesses to scale more confidently while maintaining a smooth transaction process for their customers. Established in 2014, Paybis reports that it processes more than $6 billion annually for its 7 million users.
