GRK Infra Shares Plunge on Disappointing Revenue and Muted Outlook

Shares of GRK Infra plunged nearly 15% on Tuesday after the Finnish infrastructure construction group released a January-September interim report that missed revenue expectations and provided a full-year forecast that disappointed investors.
Earnings Miss and Cautious Guidance
According to its pre-market earnings release, GRK Infra's third-quarter revenue grew to €287.7 million, up from €257.4 million in the prior-year period. However, the top-line growth came in below what analysts had anticipated, Investing.com reported. While profitability improved, with the EBITDA margin rising to 13.6% from 10.5% a year earlier, the market focused on the company's revised outlook.
GRK updated its full-year 2026 guidance, now projecting revenue of €850–€950 million and an adjusted operating profit between €80 million and €95 million. Investors appeared to view this forecast as insufficiently ambitious, particularly as the stock had recently been trading near its 52-week high.
AdInvestor Concerns Weigh on Stock
The negative market reaction was amplified by other details in the report. The company's operating free cash flow for the period was negative, and management flagged growing cost pressures for the autumn, citing geopolitical uncertainty and volatility in raw material markets.
A sharp increase in the company's order backlog, which stood at €1,066.6 million compared to €683.2 million a year earlier, was not enough to offset the market's disappointment with near-term revenue and cost concerns. The stock fell 14.8% to trade at €21.80, a significant drop from its recent 52-week high of €27.90, reflecting a reset in investor expectations.
