CT3 Prepares Data Storage Ecosystem for Native CT3GB Token Launch

Decentralized data storage firm CT3 announced it has initiated preparations to launch its native token, CT3GB, which will serve as the core settlement asset for its platform. The company is scaling its infrastructure and building financial reserves ahead of the token's eventual public listing.
Ecosystem and Infrastructure Upgrades
CT3 is undertaking several key initiatives to prepare for the token's integration. According to its announcement, these efforts are designed to ensure the platform's economy is sustainable post-listing.
Key preparations include:
- Scaling data infrastructure to handle increased demand, which the company noted has grown since implementing automatic backup technology.
- Building financial and infrastructure reserves, partly through its Storage Contracts program, to create a resource buffer for future growth.
- Modernizing its network architecture by segmenting storage infrastructure into specialized smart contracts for different products, aiming for improved scalability and transparency.
The Role of the CT3GB Token
AdThe launch of CT3GB will mark a significant shift in the platform's internal economy. CT3 plans to transition all major financial processes from the Polygon infrastructure, which it currently uses for most internal operations, to its own native token.
Once launched, CT3GB will be used for a range of functions, including paying for data storage services, settling payments with infrastructure providers, and distributing rewards. The company stated the token will be a fundamental element of the CT3 Cloud ecosystem, intended to facilitate the flow of value between all network participants.
Pre-Listing Audit and Security
As a mandatory step before the token enters the public market, CT3 will conduct an independent audit of its core smart contract infrastructure. The company emphasized that this comprehensive review is essential for verifying the security of the contracts, the correctness of their business logic, and compliance with industry standards.
CT3 views the audit as a critical factor in building trust with users, partners, and cryptocurrency exchanges ahead of the public launch of its tokenized economy.
