- CSN Mineracao SA (CMIN3) was the session's biggest loser, falling 6.85%.
- Usinas Siderurgicas de Minas Gerais SA (USIM5) declined 4.74%.
- Companhia Siderurgica Nacional (CSNA3) dropped 4.65%.
On the positive side, technology firm Totvs SA (TOTS3) was the top performer, gaining 4.34%. It was followed by pharmaceutical company Hypera SA (HYPE3), which added 3.38%.

In the currency market, the Brazilian real weakened against the U.S. dollar. The USD/BRL exchange rate increased by 0.56% to 5.15. This move coincided with a broader strengthening of the greenback, as the U.S. Dollar Index Futures rose 0.38%.

Commodity markets showed a mixed performance. Crude oil prices advanced, with futures for October delivery rising 1.86% to $101.91 a barrel. In contrast, Gold Futures for December delivery fell 1.61%, while the U.S. coffee C contract gained 1.24%.
