Background

Alkemya Metacore SCSp, a Luxembourg-based investment platform, has secured $50 million in a pre-launch capital raise for its tokenized equity offering. The funds are designated to scale its business of transforming high-purity industrial nickel wire into engineered products for the energy and security sectors.

The Offering

The financing was raised ahead of the listing of the company's ALKN token on Bitfinex Securities. According to a statement released September 1, 2026, a new tranche of tokens is being offered to institutional and professional investors at $1.00 per token, with the offer set to close on October 15, 2026. Hanover Square Capital (UK) Ltd is arranging the offering.

Investor returns are structured with a clear distribution waterfall:

  • First, a full return of the initial investor capital.
  • Second, cumulative distributions equal to a 6% per annum compound interest, or preferred return.
  • Finally, an 80/20 profit split from the commercial business, in favor of the token holders.

Asset and Strategy

Alkemya Metacore's offering is backed by a significant real-world asset: approximately 7 million meters of 99.99% ultra-pure nickel wire. The company stated the asset has been independently valued at approximately $1.64 billion and is held in institutional custody in Lugano, Switzerland.

The capital raised will serve as working capital to finance the commercialization of this nickel wire. The strategy involves transforming the raw material into engineered mesh products for high-growth applications, including EMI shielding, aerospace and defense, green hydrogen, and semiconductors.

Market Significance

This transaction highlights the increasing use of blockchain technology to tokenize real-world assets, providing issuers with access to a global pool of capital within regulated frameworks. "We chose to list on Bitfinex Securities because tokenisation offers us access to a genuinely global investor base within a regulated framework," said Carlo Guido Della Peruta, a manager at Alkemya Metacore's General Partner.

The issuer, Alkemya Metacore, is registered with El Salvador's National Commission of Digital Assets (CNAD). Following the primary listing on Bitfinex Securities, the ALKN tokens are also expected to be available for trading on regulated exchanges AGX in Asia and Archax in the UK, further broadening investor access.
