WAG Payment Solutions Lifts 2026 EBITDA Guidance on Strong H1 Revenue

WAG Payment Solutions raised its full-year 2026 earnings outlook on Wednesday, citing strong first-half performance driven by growth in its core services. The company now expects adjusted cash EBITDA to be between €110 million and €115 million, an increase from its previous forecast of €105 million to €115 million.
First-Half Performance
In its first-half results, WAG Payment Solutions reported a 10.7% year-over-year increase in net revenue, which reached €1.38 billion. Adjusted EBITDA grew in line with revenue, rising 10.5% to €70.60 million, resulting in an adjusted EBITDA margin of 39.3% for the period.
However, the company's bottom line was impacted by market conditions. Pretax profit for the first half totaled €8.40 million, while basic earnings per share declined. WAG attributed this decrease primarily to higher finance expenses and foreign exchange losses.
Updated Full-Year Outlook
Alongside the upgraded earnings forecast, the company reaffirmed its other key projections for the full year 2026. Key guidance points include:
Ad- Net revenue growth in the low double-digits.
- An adjusted EBITDA margin of approximately 40%.
- Net leverage remaining below 2.0x.
After the period ended, the company also paid a special dividend of 1.5 pence per share, equivalent to a total of €12.1 million.
Operational Highlights
Revenue growth was supported by the expansion of the company's toll services and payment solutions. The firm's customer base grew, with the number of total active trucks increasing by 7% year-over-year.
WAG Payment Solutions also noted that the ongoing migration and integration of customers onto its Eurowag Office platform has led to higher engagement and increased usage of its services.
