Despite the broader market downturn, several companies posted strong gains:
Ad- Europower Enerji (EUPWR) surged 10.00% to hit an all-time high.
- Qua Granite (QUAGR) climbed 9.76%.
- Balsu Gida Sanayi (BALSU) rose 8.02%.
On the other end of the spectrum, the day's worst performers included:
- Destek Finans Faktoring (DSTKF), which plummeted 10.00%.
- Sekerbank (SKBNK), which dropped 9.99%.
- Reeder Teknoloji (REEDR), which was down 7.40%.
Currency and Commodity Markets
In currency markets, the Turkish lira saw minimal movement against major currencies. The USD/TRY pair edged up 0.06% to 47.20, while the EUR/TRY pair was unchanged. Meanwhile, commodity prices were higher, with Gold Futures for August delivery rising 1.63% and Crude oil gaining over 2.4%.
