Trump Threatens to Block Bombardier Sales in US Without Domestic Production

President Donald Trump declared on Monday that Canadian aerospace manufacturer Bombardier Inc. will be barred from the U.S. market unless it establishes manufacturing operations within the country, intensifying an ongoing trade dispute.
Trump Issues Ultimatum
In a post on the Truth Social platform, Trump directly targeted the Montreal-based company, demanding a shift in its production strategy to maintain access to American customers.
"NO MORE SELLING BOMBARDIER IN THE UNITED STATES! Their products aren’t good enough!" Trump wrote, according to a Reuters report. "If they want our Market, they must build here, and stop treating America like a 'piggybank'."

The statement injects significant uncertainty into the operations of Bombardier (BBD.B), a major global producer of business jets. The demand for domestic manufacturing represents a potential major hurdle for the company's existing business model and North American supply chain.
The ultimatum was issued amid what was described as a persistent trade dispute between the United States and Canada. Despite the threatening rhetoric, shares of Bombardier were reportedly trading up 3.56% on Monday, according to market data cited in the report.
