According to market data, falling stocks significantly outnumbered advancers. A total of 347 companies saw their shares decline, compared to just 127 that posted gains, while 86 issues remained unchanged at the close.

Among the session's worst performers on the TA 35 were several prominent companies. Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd (TASE:ENLT) was a top laggard, falling 5.07%. Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA) declined 4.58%, hitting a new 52-week low, while Mega Or (TASE:MGOR) was down 4.51%.

Despite the market downturn, a few stocks bucked the trend. The cybersecurity firm Palo Alto Networks Inc (TASE:CYBR) was a bright spot, rising 2.80% to reach an all-time high. Other gainers included Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT), which added 2.35%, and Next Vision Stabilized Systems (TASE:NXSN), which was up 1.02%.

Broader Market Movements

Elsewhere in global markets, energy prices rallied. Crude oil futures for November delivery increased by 3.39% to $95.28 a barrel, while Brent oil for November delivery rose 3.53%. In currency trading, the U.S. dollar strengthened against the Israeli shekel, with the USD/ILS pair rising 0.39%.
