Strong Q2 Performance
Storytel announced robust growth across its key financial metrics for the second quarter. The results demonstrated both top-line growth and expanding profitability, providing a strong catalyst for the stock.

- Adjusted EBITDA Margin: Expanded to 19.2%, up from 16.8% in the same period last year.

Upgraded Full-Year Guidance
AdBuoyed by the strong results, Storytel's management upgraded its financial outlook for the full year 2026. The company now expects to generate an adjusted EBITDA of SEK 900 million, an increase from its previous target of SEK 870 million.
In the earnings release, CEO Bodil Eriksson Torp stated that the company continues to successfully combine "profitable growth with strong margin expansion." She noted that the strong performance in the first half of the year warranted the upward revision to the forecast.
Market Reaction
The positive earnings report and upgraded outlook prompted a significant rally in Storytel's shares, which climbed 10.2% to SEK 98.5. The move was a stock-specific event, standing in contrast to the broader Swedish OMXS30 index, which traded in a narrow range. The surge pushed the stock toward the upper end of its 52-week range of SEK 67.2 to SEK 107.9.
