In the broader markets, commodities saw significant movement. Crude oil prices fell sharply, with the October WTI contract dropping 3.27% to $102.37 a barrel and the November Brent contract down 3.03% to $105.45 a barrel. Conversely, Gold Futures for December delivery acted as a safe haven, rising 1.34% to $4,390.70 a troy ounce. Currency markets were relatively stable, with the EUR/USD and EUR/GBP pairs showing minimal change.
