Ramp Reportedly in Talks for New Funding at $60 Billion Valuation

Fintech startup Ramp is in early-stage discussions with investors to raise new capital at a valuation of roughly $60 billion, according to a Bloomberg report citing a person familiar with the matter. The talks are preliminary and could still change.
The Potential Deal
Under the terms currently being discussed, the New York-based company is seeking to raise approximately $1 billion in primary funding. This potential transaction comes just three months after Ramp secured a $750 million capital injection in June, which valued the firm at $44 billion.
The significant and rapid step-up in valuation highlights strong investor appetite for high-growth financial technology platforms, even as the broader tech sector faces macroeconomic headwinds. If the deal is finalized at this valuation, it would cement Ramp's position as one of North America's most valuable private technology companies.
AdCompany Growth and Background
Founded in 2019, Ramp initially focused on simplifying corporate expense management for startups. The company has since expanded its offerings into a comprehensive enterprise platform that includes business payment processing, automated accounts payable, and AI-powered fraud detection.
This expansion has fueled substantial top-line growth. According to Bloomberg data, Ramp surpassed $1.5 billion in annualized revenue as of early June. To date, the company has raised a total of $3 billion in capital, with backing from prominent venture firms such as Iconiq, Thrive Capital, and Founders Fund. Investors will be watching to see how Ramp might use additional capital to fund further product development or pursue strategic acquisitions.
