Laggards and Leaders
AdSeveral of the index's major components posted significant losses, contributing to the downward pressure. The session's worst performers included:
- Teixeira Duarte (ELI:TDSA), which fell 2.07% to trade at €0.47.
- Galp Energia (ELI:GALP), declining 1.83% to end the day at €19.07.
- Jeronimo Martins (ELI:JMT), which was down 1.34% to close at €16.22.
Bucking the negative trend, a handful of stocks posted gains. The top performers were led by EDP Renovaveis (ELI:EDPR), which rose 0.50%. It was followed by CTT Correios de Portugal (ELI:CTT), adding 0.44%, and Mota Engil (ELI:MOTA), which was up 0.40%.
