Medacta Reports 9.7% H1 Revenue Growth on EMEA, APAC Strength

Swiss medical device manufacturer Medacta reported a 9.7% increase in revenue in constant currency for the first half of 2026, according to a company announcement. The growth was primarily driven by strong performance in its Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) and Asia Pacific regions, which helped to offset slower expansion in North America.
H1 Performance Details
For the six months ending June 30, 2026, Medacta's adjusted EBITDA margin reached 27.8% in constant currency, with adjusted EBITDA totaling €97 million. The company noted that its net profit declined compared to the same period in 2025, attributing the decrease to a one-off gain recorded in the prior year.
Geographically, revenue growth was led by double-digit increases in the Asia Pacific and EMEA markets. However, performance in North America was more subdued due to what the company described as a softening U.S. market and a sales channel transition within its Spine business segment.
Segment Growth and Innovation
Growth was strong across the company's core product lines, with the Hip, Knee, and Extremities segments performing well. Medacta credited the adoption of new technologies for the positive results, including its AMIS platform for hip replacement, the NextAR augmented reality navigation system, and its GMK SpheriKA knee implants.
AdThe company also highlighted increased revenue from new surgeon activities across all its business lines. It specifically pointed to growing adoption in U.S. ambulatory surgery centers and academic centers as a key contributor.
Company Outlook
Looking ahead, Medacta reaffirmed its guidance for the full year 2026, targeting revenue growth of 10% to 14% in constant currency. The company also expects its adjusted EBITDA margin to expand by approximately 50 basis points compared to the previous year.
Medacta's medium-term forecast for the 2024-2027 period remains unchanged, with a projected revenue compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 12% to 15% in constant currency.
