MasterCraft Stock Surges on Strong Q4 Earnings and Acquisition Boost

Shares of MasterCraft Boat Holdings (NASDAQ: MCFT) surged more than 6% in pre-market trading after the company reported fiscal fourth-quarter financial results that significantly exceeded Wall Street expectations, bolstered by a recent strategic acquisition.
Decisive Earnings Beat
MasterCraft announced earnings per share (EPS) of $0.67, topping the analyst consensus of $0.64, according to a report from Investing.com. The outperformance was even more pronounced on the top line.
Revenue for the quarter came in at $129.9 million, a figure that substantially outpaced the $93.04 million that analysts had forecast. This beat reflects strong operational performance and successful strategic initiatives.
Acquisition Fuels Growth
A key driver of the strong results was the company's recent combination with Marine Products Corporation. The acquisition, which brought the Chaparral and Robalo brands into MasterCraft's portfolio, contributed $33.3 million in incremental sales during the quarter.
AdIn the earnings announcement, CEO Brad Nelson called fiscal 2026 a "defining year" for the company. He highlighted growth in net sales, a nearly 80% expansion in adjusted EBITDA, and the successful integration of the "transformational" acquisition.
Market Reaction
Investors responded positively to the report, sending MasterCraft shares up 6.5% in pre-open trading to $24.27. The rally places the stock well above its 52-week low of $17.19, though it remains below the period's high of $28.44.
The strong results follow a period of constructive analyst sentiment, including a price target increase from Truist in July, which had already signaled growing confidence in the company's outlook.
