Margex Opens Public Affiliate Program with up to 50% Revenue Share

Digital asset trading platform Margex announced it has made its affiliate program publicly accessible, a shift from its previous invite-only model. The program offers partners a revenue share of up to 50% on trading fees generated by referred users, aiming to attract marketers and content creators in the cryptocurrency space.
Program Structure and Payouts
According to the company's statement, the commission structure is designed to scale with performance. The program's key features include:
- Revenue Share: Partners start at a 40% commission on trading fees, which automatically increases to 50% once their referred monthly trading volume surpasses $5 million.
- Performance Benchmark: Margex reports a median partner payout benchmark of $250 in Earnings Per Million (EPM). The company defines EPM as the total commission paid out for every $1 million in trading volume generated by referred clients.
- Daily Payments: Commissions are calculated and paid out daily in cryptocurrency directly to partner wallets, with no minimum withdrawal thresholds.
Margex stated that the program is now open to all applicants without minimum traffic requirements or application delays. The company is funding the payouts by reallocating its traditional advertising budget toward partner commissions.
Strategic Context
AdThis move places Margex in direct competition with other crypto exchanges that rely heavily on affiliate and influencer marketing to drive user acquisition. By offering a high-revenue share and transparent performance metrics like EPM, the platform aims to incentivize partners to drive high-volume traders to its ecosystem.
The program also provides partners with a real-time analytics dashboard to track referral activity, trading volume, and daily earnings. High trader retention, supported by the platform's liquidity and derivatives offerings, is a key selling point for generating sustained, long-term commissions, according to the firm.
