Linkhome Stock Surges 20% on AI Infrastructure Expansion Plan

Linkhome Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ:LHAI) saw its stock price surge by 20% on Wednesday following the company's announcement of a major strategic expansion. The board of directors has approved a plan for the company to enter the AI infrastructure sector, targeting areas such as GPU cloud services, AI data center solutions, and other enterprise AI solutions.
The company stated that its existing real estate and financial technology businesses will continue to operate alongside this new venture. Services for the AI expansion will be delivered through a platform named OpenLink. According to Linkhome, OpenLink is designed as a decentralized infrastructure platform that aggregates GPU resources from various providers, aiming for a capital-light model that connects enterprise demand with distributed computing supply.
As part of this new initiative, Linkhome has entered into a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding with an enterprise customer for AI infrastructure and computing services. The company reported that the proposed agreement has a potential contract value of up to $10.5 million, though it remains subject to the finalization of definitive agreements and other customary closing conditions.
Ad"Our Board’s approval of this strategic expansion reflects our commitment to positioning the Company to capitalize on the rapidly growing adoption of enterprise AI," said Bill Qin, CEO of Linkhome. He added that demand for enterprise-grade AI computing infrastructure continues to grow as organizations deploy more sophisticated AI applications to support generative AI, large language models, and high-performance computing workloads.
