Leadership Transition

Baecher was a partner at Arctos, where he oversaw its capital solutions group and contributed to corporate strategic initiatives. Following the acquisition, he assumed a similar role as a managing director in the newly formed KKR Solutions unit.

Lauren Hahn, a managing director who currently serves as head of global private equity product strategies, will take over leadership of KKR Solutions’ client-facing team, according to one of the sources. Hahn, who has been with KKR since 2019, will add these duties to her existing responsibilities.

Strategic Context of the Arctos Deal

KKR completed its $1.4 billion acquisition of Arctos in May, a strategic move designed to expand its footprint in the growing market for secondaries and customized capital solutions for alternative asset managers. The deal leverages KKR's existing relationships within the asset management community.

Arctos specializes in providing capital to sports franchises and also offers bespoke financing arrangements for asset managers. As of June 30, Arctos had $20 billion in assets under management.
