Kambi Group has upgraded its full-year earnings guidance following a robust second quarter, significantly boosted by high betting activity during the 2026 World Cup. The sports betting technology provider announced it now anticipates full-year EBITA to be between €23 million and €27 million.

World Cup Fuels Q2 Growth

The company reported a 13.5% year-over-year increase in second-quarter revenue to €49.5 million. Profitability saw a substantial jump, with EBITA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, and Amortization) soaring 102% to €7.6 million. This represents an EBITA margin of 16.5%, a significant improvement from 9.3% in the same period last year.

The World Cup was a primary catalyst, generating more than €1 billion in sportsbook turnover for Kambi’s network. The operator trading margin during the tournament reached a high of 18%, contributing to a record overall operator margin of 14.0% for the quarter.

Revised Outlook and Market Context

The updated EBITA guidance of €23-27 million marks an 11% increase at the midpoint from the previous forecast of €20-25 million. This revised outlook places the company's expectations approximately 10% above the current market consensus of €22.8 million, according to figures cited in the report.

In its statement, Kambi said it "has turned a corner and returned to growth" after a period of business headwinds. The strong performance was also supported by growth in the Americas, which accounted for 57% of network turnover during the World Cup, up from 38% in 2022. The company held a net cash position of €33.0 million at the end of the quarter.
