InnovAge Stock Surges on 175% EBITDA Growth and Strong 2027 Outlook

Shares of InnovAge (INNV) surged 14.6% in pre-market trading after the senior care company announced a significant financial turnaround in its fiscal 2026 results and provided an optimistic outlook for fiscal 2027.
Financial Turnaround in Fiscal 2026
InnovAge reported a substantial improvement in profitability and revenue for the full fiscal year ending in 2026. The results, which exceeded market expectations, were driven by higher participant enrollment and stronger capitation rates.
Key full-year financial highlights include:
- Adjusted EBITDA: Climbed approximately 175% to $94.6 million.
- Revenue: Rose 15.9% year-over-year to $989.7 million.
- Net Loss: Narrowed dramatically to $0.7 million, compared to a loss of $35.3 million in fiscal 2025.
Management noted that one-time legal accruals were the primary factor preventing the company from achieving full-year net profitability. For the fourth quarter, InnovAge's revenue surpassed the consensus analyst forecast of $238.22 million, though its quarterly earnings per share of $0.06 fell slightly short of estimates.
AdUpbeat Guidance and Strategic Focus
Adding to investor confidence, InnovAge issued strong guidance for its upcoming fiscal 2027. The company projects revenue to be between $1.05 billion and $1.085 billion and adjusted EBITDA in the range of $105 million to $115 million. This forecast suggests continued margin expansion toward the company's long-term target of over 10%.
CEO Patrick Blair called fiscal 2026 "an exceptional year for InnovAge and a key milestone in the transformation of the company." He also outlined a new strategic phase focused on scaling the business through technology, AI integration, and potential acquisitions.
Market Reaction
The stock's sharp upward move was entirely company-specific, standing in contrast to the broader market, where the S&P 500, Dow Jones, and Nasdaq were all trading modestly lower. The rally pushed InnovAge's stock price close to its 52-week high of $12.64. Other companies in the PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) sector did not experience similar gains, underscoring that the move in INNV was driven by its strong earnings report and forward guidance.
