EOS Surges Over 10% in Largest Daily Gain Since Late 2025

The cryptocurrency EOS experienced a significant price surge on Wednesday, climbing 10.67% to trade near $0.0664, according to data from the Investing.com Index at 23:56 GMT. The move marked the digital asset's largest single-day percentage gain since December 11, 2025.
Price Action and Trading
The rally pushed the price of EOS to the top of its recent trading range. Over the preceding 24 hours, the token's value fluctuated between $0.0600 and $0.0664.
This latest increase contributes to a positive trend over the past week, during which EOS has gained 5.03%. Despite this recent upward momentum, the token remains significantly below its historical peak.
Broader Market Context
The advance in EOS occurred amid a widespread rally in the cryptocurrency market. Other major digital assets also posted strong gains, according to Investing.com data.
Ad- Bitcoin (BTC), the largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, was up 7.04% to trade at $69,271.4.
- Ethereum (ETH) saw an even larger jump, rising 17.55% to $2,253.62.
At the time of the data, Bitcoin's market capitalization stood at approximately $1.39 trillion, accounting for 58.77% of the total cryptocurrency market. Ethereum's market cap was roughly $271.33 billion, representing an 11.48% share.
Historical Perspective
While the double-digit gain is notable for EOS, it is important in a wider context. The current price is still down 99.71% from its all-time high of $22.98, which was set on April 29, 2018. The recent gains have only slightly recovered a fraction of the token's long-term value loss.
