Meanwhile, the AEX Volatility index, a measure of implied volatility in the options market, remained unchanged at 21.09, suggesting stable expectations among traders despite the new market high.

The gains in the energy sector were underpinned by a rise in crude oil prices. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude for August delivery climbed 1.84% to $79.58 a barrel, while the September Brent oil contract rose 2.52% to $85.40 a barrel. Gold futures for August delivery also saw a significant increase of 1.48%.
In currency markets, the euro strengthened against the U.S. dollar, with the EUR/USD pair rising 0.40% to 1.14. The US Dollar Index Futures, which measures the greenback against a basket of major currencies, declined by 0.31% to 100.72.
