Dormakaba Reports 4% Organic Sales Growth in Q1 on Higher Prices, Confirms Outlook

Dormakaba Holding AG (DOKA) reported a 4% increase in organic net sales for the first quarter of its 2026/27 fiscal year, primarily driven by price adjustments. The company confirmed its financial outlook for the full year, citing resilient business momentum despite a challenging global environment.
Sales Performance in Detail
For the quarter ending September 30, 2026, Dormakaba's net sales reached CHF 702.9 million, a 5.2% increase from CHF 668.4 million in the prior-year period. The company stated that the organic growth was composed of a 2.7% contribution from price increases and 1.3% from volume growth.
Other factors influencing the top line included:
- A positive currency translation effect of 1.1%.
- A 1.3% contribution from recent acquisitions.
- An offsetting -1.3% impact from divestitures and discontinued operations.
The company noted that both of its business segments contributed to the organic growth. The Access Solutions division saw robust volume growth, while the Key & Wall Solutions and OEM segment benefited from higher prices implemented to counter rising raw material costs.
Confirmed Outlook and Acquisitions
AdDormakaba reaffirmed its guidance for the full 2026/27 financial year. The company continues to target:
- Organic net sales growth above 3%.
- An operating profit margin exceeding 11%.
- An operating cash flow margin between 10.5% and 11.5%.
Supporting its growth strategy, Dormakaba completed three bolt-on acquisitions during the quarter. The company acquired Azure in the US, Alliants to strengthen its hospitality segment, and Style Group to reinforce its position in the UK movable walls market.
Management Commentary
CEO Till Reuter commented on the results, stating, "Our solid organic net sales growth of 4.0% reflects a resilient business momentum, amid trading conditions still impacted by geopolitical tensions, tariffs and armed conflicts." Reuter also highlighted a "strong order book in access solutions" as a key positive indicator for the business.
