CryptoCapitalFund Acquires 200 Million IBNAi Tokens, Securing 20% of Total Supply

Digital asset investment firm CryptoCapitalFund has acquired 200 million IBNAi tokens, a purchase representing 20% of the token's total fixed supply, according to an announcement on Wednesday. The move signals a significant strategic investment into the utility token that powers the InvestorBrandNetwork (IBN) ecosystem.
The Transaction
CryptoCapitalFund, which focuses on long-term opportunities in the cryptocurrency market, confirmed the acquisition was made through open-market purchases during July and August of 2026. The firm stated the tokens have been secured in cold storage at digital asset custody provider Fireblocks.
The acquisition represents a substantial position in the project, which has a fixed total supply of 1 billion tokens. Key details of the investment include:
- Tokens Acquired: 200 million IBNAi
- Stake of Total Supply: 20%
- Purchase Period: July and August 2026
- Custody: Fireblocks cold storage
A Strategic Bet on Utility
AdCryptoCapitalFund framed the investment as a strategic commitment based on the token's intended function rather than speculative interest. The firm highlighted IBNAi's role as a utility and engagement token within IBN's established financial communications and investor network.
"This investment reflects our long-term view of the platform’s potential and our commitment to supporting the continued development and utility of the IBNAi ecosystem,” said Michael McCarthy, Managing Member of CryptoCapitalFund. The firm's investment thesis also pointed to IBNAi's foundation on the Ethereum (ETH) blockchain, citing its extensive developer community and growing institutional adoption as a stable base for the project.
Market Context
The acquisition was welcomed by IBNAi as a vote of confidence in its strategy to merge blockchain technology with real-world applications. "We believe CryptoCapitalFund’s investment reflects growing recognition of IBNAi’s long-term potential," said Brett Schnacker, director of social media relations at IBNAi.
This investment aligns with a broader market trend where digital asset projects are increasingly focused on creating tangible utility by integrating with existing business infrastructures. CryptoCapitalFund, founded in January 2021, states its objective is to identify opportunities with the potential to create sustainable value, a philosophy reflected in this large-scale acquisition.
