Casper Network Launches Accelerator Program with 28 Developers to Boost Mainnet Applications

The Casper Network has launched the inaugural cohort of its Casper Forward program, bringing in 28 developers to help transition their early-stage projects into applications ready for the mainnet. The initiative is designed to provide critical post-hackathon support, fostering the growth of the Casper ecosystem.
Program Details and Objectives
Announced on October 26, the Casper Forward program aims to bridge the gap between a working prototype and a viable, user-ready product. Participants are winners and other promising developers from recent Casper hackathons, including the Casper Agentic Buildathon, which focused on AI, payments, and real-world data.
The program addresses the common challenge where promising hackathon projects stall due to technical and business hurdles. "There’s a lot of good work that comes out of hackathons, but getting a project from a demo to something people can actually use is a different challenge," said Michael Steuer, president and CTO of Casper Network. "We’re giving developers access to the people, tools, and support they need to keep building, get to mainnet, and hopefully grow into lasting projects on Casper."
Ecosystem Support and Growth
The cohort will receive comprehensive, hands-on assistance to accelerate their development and launch processes. According to the announcement, the support structure includes:
Ad- Technical guidance and security audit support
- Access to developer tools and introductions to ecosystem partners
- Strategic planning for business positioning and go-to-market execution
- Promotional support through Casper’s official channels and webinars
The program is backed by industry partners including Allium Network, ChainGPT, MarketAcross, and Safe Edges. By nurturing these projects, Casper aims to increase the number of robust, long-term applications operating on its network.
Context on the Casper Network
The Casper Network is a Layer 1 Proof-of-Stake blockchain engineered for regulated real-world assets and enterprise use cases. The protocol features deterministic transaction finality and a multi-VM execution layer that supports both WebAssembly and, in the future, EVM smart contracts. This initiative represents a strategic effort by the Casper Association, the Swiss-based nonprofit overseeing the network, to stimulate developer activity and enhance the utility of its blockchain.
