Cryptocurrency exchange Bybit reported that its Private Wealth Management (PWM) Bitcoin fund products have achieved a comprehensive annualized return of approximately 4.9% over the last 60 days. The company also noted that certain individual funds delivered 30-day annualized percentage rates exceeding 40%.

Performance and Strategy

According to a company announcement, the performance figures reflect Bybit's strategy to provide yield-generating opportunities for investors holding large Bitcoin positions, particularly during periods of market volatility. The PWM products utilize a BTC-invested, BTC-settled structure, allowing clients to earn returns in Bitcoin while maintaining their exposure to the asset.

"The central question is often not whether to sell BTC for short-term liquidity, but how to keep BTC working while remaining exposed to the asset itself," said Jerry Li, Head of Earn and Wealth Management at Bybit, in a statement. The products are designed to address this need for long-term holders.

Expanded Offerings for BTC Holders

Bybit's PWM service, which launched in September 2025, now manages over $239 million in assets across more than 160 portfolios, the company stated. The offerings are primarily aimed at higher-net-worth clients, with a minimum investment starting at 10 BTC.

To serve a wider range of investors, Bybit has structured a tiered suite of BTC yield products:

  • On-Chain Earn: An entry-level product for users to stake BTC for returns.
  • Bybit PWM: The fund structure for larger holdings, which also offers some USDT-denominated options.
  • Advanced Earn: Structured products, such as Dual Asset and Discount Buy, for investors with a higher risk appetite and a desire for more complex strategies.

In June 2026, the exchange launched PWM 2.0, which expanded direct dashboard access to eligible VIP2+ users to allow for greater customization of their wealth management solutions.
