Bybit Reports 4.9% Annualized Return on Bitcoin Wealth Funds Amid Product Expansion

Bybit, the world's second-largest crypto exchange by trading volume, reported its Private Wealth Management (PWM) Bitcoin funds achieved a comprehensive annualized return of approximately 4.9% over the last 60 days. The firm also noted that select individual funds delivered 30-day annualized percentage rates exceeding 40%.
Performance and Strategy
The products are structured as BTC-invested and BTC-settled funds, designed to provide advanced allocation solutions for investors with significant Bitcoin holdings. This allows clients to generate yield on their assets while maintaining direct exposure to Bitcoin.
"The central question is often not whether to sell BTC for short-term liquidity, but how to keep BTC working while remaining exposed to the asset itself," said Jerry Li, Head of Earn and Wealth Management at Bybit, in a statement. The strategy targets holders navigating market volatility, particularly as Bitcoin trades below its highs from the first half of 2026, according to the company.
Expanded Offerings for BTC Holders
AdLaunched in September 2025, Bybit's PWM division now manages over $239 million in assets across more than 160 portfolios. The PWM products, which require a minimum investment of 10 BTC, are primarily aimed at high-net-worth individuals and institutional clients.
Bybit has expanded its suite of BTC yield products to cater to different investor profiles:
- On-Chain Earn: An entry-level product for staking BTC to earn a basic yield.
- PWM Funds: Tailored fund structures for larger holdings, with some funds also accessible via USDT.
- Advanced Earn: Structured products like Dual Asset and Discount Buy for sophisticated investors with a higher risk appetite.
In June 2026, the exchange launched PWM 2.0, which expanded direct dashboard access to eligible users and introduced more customization options for wealth management solutions.
