Background

Cryptocurrency exchange BTCC announced it will be a Platinum Sponsor for the upcoming TOKEN2049 conference in Singapore. The move coincides with the company's 15th anniversary and the launch of a new brand initiative themed “0-barrier trading,” aimed at simplifying the user experience for cryptocurrency futures.

Strategic Initiative Details

BTCC, which identifies itself as the world's longest-serving crypto exchange, will use the high-profile event to promote its new strategic focus. The conference is scheduled for October 7-8 at Marina Bay Sands and is expected to attract over 25,000 attendees, according to the announcement.

The company's “0-barrier trading” initiative is built on three core principles, as outlined in a press release dated August 14, 2026:

  • 0 Fees: A campaign focused on reducing or eliminating trading costs.
  • 0 Friction: Aimed at creating a more seamless and user-friendly trading process.
  • 0 Panic: Designed to provide tools and an environment that helps traders manage risk and navigate markets with more confidence.

Conference Presence and Engagement

At the event, BTCC plans to operate an interactive booth and host an exclusive private lounge called the “BTCC Traders Club.” The lounge's theme will be based on the exchange's partnership with the Argentine Football Association (AFA) and will serve as a venue for meetings with VIPs, partners, and invited guests.

BTCC also intends to engage a global audience through virtual participation. The exchange will host live streams from the event on the social media platform X and run online campaigns with USDT prize pools and merchandise giveaways. Founded in 2011, BTCC states it serves over 12 million users in more than 100 countries.
