BTCC Exchange Launches $1M Trading Competition with Tesla Cybertruck Prize

Cryptocurrency exchange BTCC has launched a new futures trading competition with a $1 million prize pool, featuring a Tesla Cybertruck as the grand prize. The promotion, titled "Trade To Win," is timed to coincide with the upcoming TOKEN2049 conference in Singapore, where the exchange is a platinum sponsor.
Competition Details
According to a company announcement on September 10, the competition will reward the top 300 participants based on their cumulative futures trading volume. The campaign is scheduled to conclude on October 13, 2026.
The prize pool is tiered, with the top-ranked trader set to receive the Tesla Cybertruck. Other rewards for top performers include:
- Tickets to the TOKEN2049 Singapore 2026 conference for the top six traders.
- Additional prizes for the top 300, including iPhones, other Apple products, a Nintendo Switch 2, and USDT trading vouchers.
AdA separate promotion is available for traders with VIP 3 status or higher. Those who accumulate at least 10,000,000 USDT in futures trading volume during the competition will be entered into a lucky draw for an iPhone Duo.
Strategic Marketing and Context
The trading competition is a key part of BTCC's marketing efforts around TOKEN2049, one of the crypto industry's largest annual events. Such high-value promotions are a common strategy used by exchanges to boost platform liquidity, attract new users, and increase brand visibility during major industry gatherings.
Founded in 2011, BTCC is also using the event to mark its 15th anniversary. The exchange plans to host an exclusive side event, "The Rooftop Afters," in Singapore on October 8 for partners and influencers, as stated in its press release.
