Bitget Wallet to Launch Cashback Program With Rewards in Bitcoin, Gold, and Tokenized Stocks

Bitget Wallet will launch Assetback, a new asset-based cashback program, on August 1, allowing users of its Bitget Wallet Card to earn rewards in digital assets rather than traditional fiat currency or airline miles. The program represents a move to integrate tokenized real-world assets into everyday consumer spending.
Program Details
The Assetback program will allow eligible users to earn up to 3% in asset cashback. According to the company, users can pre-select their preferred reward asset, which will be automatically routed to their self-custodial wallet. The rewards will not be paid in fiat currency.
Instead, users can choose from a variety of digital and tokenized assets, including:
- Bitcoin (BTC)
- Gold (XAUT)
- Tokenized U.S. equities such as Nvidia (NVDA), Tesla (TSLA), and Alphabet (GOOGL)
- Tokenized ETFs like the S&P 500
The tokenized equities will be delivered through Payward’s xStocks framework. The company also expects to offer stablecoins as a reward alternative in the future.
AdMarket Context and Strategy
The launch comes amid significant growth in the crypto card sector. According to the source, monthly crypto card spending volume more than doubled to $656 million in May 2026 from $271 million a year earlier. Bitget Wallet reported its own card spending nearly tripled in the first half of 2026.
Alvin Kan, COO of Bitget Wallet, told Investing.com that the initiative reflects a broader shift of tokenized real-world assets from institutional markets into consumer finance. "Card rewards are an early example of how payments, saving and investing can converge in a single experience, turning routine spending into small, recurring allocations to equities, gold or Bitcoin," Kan said.
Kan added that such automation could expand consumer access to global investments, particularly in markets where it remains costly or complex. The Bitget Wallet Card is expected to be available in over 50 markets and accepted on the Visa and Mastercard networks. The wallet currently serves more than 100 million users globally.
