Background

Cryptocurrency trading platform BingX announced Tuesday its strategic evolution into a multi-asset platform, a move that will integrate traditional financial instruments with its core digital asset offerings. The company aims to provide users with a single venue to trade across both crypto and traditional markets, including stocks, forex, indices, and commodities.

Strategic Expansion

In a statement dated Sept. 15, 2026, BingX detailed its new strategy, encapsulated by the slogan, "Connect Markets. Unlock Opportunities." The expansion is a direct response to the increasing correlation between digital assets and traditional financial markets, where macroeconomic conditions and monetary policy can influence both sectors simultaneously.

"Our evolution into multi-asset is a natural progression for BingX as markets become increasingly interconnected," said Kevin Lee, Chief Strategy Officer at BingX. "Traders today are not necessarily thinking in terms of one asset class. They are looking at the broader market and considering where conditions, narratives and opportunities are developing."

Platform Enhancements and Features

The revamped platform is built on four key pillars, combining its crypto-native features with new capabilities for traditional finance. According to the company, these enhancements are designed to provide a more holistic trading experience.

Key features of the multi-asset platform include:

  • Expanded Trading Options: The platform will offer one of the industry’s broadest selections of perpetual futures across traditional assets, in addition to its existing crypto futures, spot, and copy trading services.
  • Enhanced User Experience: Integration with TradingView for advanced charting and the deployment of AI-powered insights, signals, and trading tools to help users identify opportunities.
  • Market Intelligence: A greater focus on providing market research, educational resources, and industry expertise to help traders understand developments across different asset classes.
  • Security and Reliability: BingX stated it will maintain its commitment to security with 100% Proof of Reserves and its Shield Fund to protect user assets.

Market Context

BingX's move reflects a broader trend among digital asset firms seeking to bridge the gap between cryptocurrency and traditional finance (TradFi). As institutional and retail interest grows, platforms are expanding their offerings to become a one-stop-shop for traders looking to diversify their portfolios and hedge positions across different markets.

Founded in 2018, BingX reports that it serves more than 40 million users worldwide. This strategic pivot positions the company to compete more directly with established multi-asset brokerages by leveraging its foundation in the crypto space.
