Arhaus Stock Rises on Jefferies Upgrade Citing Strong Marketing Data

Summary
Shares of the premium home furnishings retailer gained after Jefferies upgraded the stock to 'Buy,' citing a significant surge in web traffic following an expanded catalog marketing campaign.
Shares of Arhaus (ticker: ARHS) rose in pre-market trading after Jefferies upgraded the premium home furnishings retailer to "Buy" from "Hold". The investment firm also raised its price target on the stock to $10.00 from $9.50, implying approximately 28% upside from the previous day's closing price of $7.79.
In early trading, Arhaus stock was up 3.3% to $8.05 per share.
Web Traffic Surges on Catalog Push
The upgrade is primarily based on early signs of success from Arhaus's refreshed marketing strategy. Jefferies cited data showing a strong consumer response after the company more than doubled the distribution of its Fall 2026 catalog, which began arriving in homes in late August.
According to tracking data from the firm, the marketing initiative led to a significant increase in online engagement:
Ad- Website traffic to Arhaus.com jumped 104% year-over-year in the four weeks following the catalog distribution.
- The momentum continued into the first half of September, with traffic growth accelerating to 107% year-over-year.
Analyst Sees Untapped Growth
Jefferies analysts estimate the catalog campaign could boost same-store sales by 75 to 200 basis points in 2027. The firm also identified the professional interior design channel as another potential growth driver, estimating it could contribute an additional 150 to 200 basis points to annual same-store sales, a factor they believe is not yet reflected in consensus market estimates.
Analysts also noted Arhaus's recent organizational changes, including the separation of its marketing and e-commerce functions under new leadership. The company plans to appoint a new Chief Marketing Officer and a Chief Digital Officer, signaling a more focused strategy on digital growth. The stock's move also came amid a broader market rally, with major U.S. indices trading higher.
