Yunji Technology Shares Surge Over 20% on Stock Connect Inclusion

Shares of Yunji Technology (2670.HK), a platform-based embodied intelligence company, surged more than 20% in intraday trading on Monday following its official inclusion in the Stock Connect program. The stock later pared some gains to close up 11.55% at HK$114, with a trading volume of HK$42.97 million, according to a report from Zhitong Finance.
Stock Connect Inclusion Boosts Investor Access
The primary catalyst for the stock's rally was its addition to the list of eligible securities for the Southbound Stock Connect, as announced by the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges. This development provides a formal channel for qualified mainland Chinese investors to trade the company's shares.
Inclusion in the program is often seen by the market as a validation of a company's business value and growth prospects. Analysts note that it can lead to an expanded shareholder base, increased trading activity, and potentially a positive cycle between improved liquidity and a higher valuation.
Strong Fundamentals Underpin Growth
AdThe market enthusiasm comes as Yunji Technology reported strong financial performance, highlighting its shift from a pure hardware vendor to a platform-centric model. For the first half of the year, the company posted significant growth:
- Total Revenue: RMB 188 million, a year-over-year increase of 71.6%.
- Ecosystem Partner Revenue: Soared to RMB 90.5 million, a 3,302.1% increase from the prior year.
- Revenue Mix: Income from partners now constitutes 48.1% of total revenue, making it the company's largest income stream.
Operational metrics also demonstrated significant scaling. The daily average number of online robots grew by 30% year-over-year to approximately 36,000, while AI agent calls increased by 189.3%. This operational growth underscores the increasing adoption of Yunji's embodied intelligence platform.
