Scaling Production and Investment

Both companies are leveraging significant investments in production infrastructure to meet anticipated demand. Anduril is constructing a 1.18 million square foot campus in Long Beach, California, set to open in 2027. Meanwhile, Voyager is developing its American Defense Complex in Pueblo, Colorado, which could eventually produce 15,000 to 20,000 propulsion systems per month.

"We’ve invested more than $500 million in propulsion, energetics and manufacturing capacity to be ready for exactly this moment," said Matt Magaña, President of Space, Defense & National Security at Voyager. "This partnership converts that investment into production programs today and positions us for the demand we expect as next-generation missile defense expands nationally."

Market Context

The stock's positive reaction reflects investor confidence that the formalized partnership will secure long-term revenue streams and position Voyager and Anduril to compete for larger defense contracts. The companies also noted that the close proximity of their scaled operations in Southern California will enable faster design, prototyping, and integration of advanced weapons systems.
