Volution Group Raises FY2026 Earnings Guidance on Record Margins

Volution Group plc has raised its earnings guidance for the fiscal year ending in July 2026, citing stronger-than-expected operating margins that are offsetting mixed performance across its key geographical markets.
Guidance Lifted on Margin Strength
In a pre-close trading update released Thursday, the company announced it now expects adjusted earnings per share (EPS) to be approximately 38.0 pence. This figure is 4% above current market consensus and represents year-over-year growth of around 15%.
The primary driver for the upgrade is a significant improvement in profitability. Volution projects its EBITA margin will reach 22.8%, a record for the company. This margin expansion comes alongside an expectation of approximately 3% organic revenue growth for the full fiscal year.
Divergent Regional Performance
AdThe upgraded forecast masks a varied performance across Volution's divisions. While overall revenue is growing, the UK market is showing signs of weakness.
- Europe: This region is the main engine of growth, with organic revenue expansion forecast between 5.5% and 6.0%. The company noted an acceleration to around 6.5% in the second half, led by strong results in the Nordic region, ClimaRad, and ERI.
- UK: The British market is expected to be flat year-over-year. This implies a decline of approximately 3% in the second half, marking the first negative half-year result for the division since fiscal year 2020.
- Australasia: Performance remains consistent, with organic revenue growth projected at 3% to 3.5%, supported by the integration of the AC Industries and Fantech acquisitions.
Financial Position and Outlook
Volution reported a healthy balance sheet, with a net debt to EBITDA ratio of 1.6 times. The company stated this leverage level provides sufficient capacity to pursue merger and acquisition (M&A) opportunities in the upcoming fiscal year.
