Stocks in Turkey finished lower on Wednesday, with the benchmark BIST 100 index declining by 2.12% at the close of trading in Istanbul. The downturn was reportedly led by losses in the Transport, Non-Metal Mineral Products, and Wood, Paper & Printing sectors.

Among the top performers on the BIST 100 were Odine Solutions Teknoloji Ticaret ve Sanayi AS (ODINE), which gained 5.02%, and Katilimevim Tasarruf Finansman AS (KTLEV), which added 5.00%, reaching an all-time high. Gen Ilac ve Saglik Urunleri Sanayi ve Ticaret AS (GENIL) also saw an increase of 2.45%.

The session's biggest decliners included Balsu Gida Sanayi ve Ticaret AS (BALSU), which dropped 9.99%, and Mia Teknoloji AS (MIATK), which fell 9.97%. Batisoke Soke Cimento Sanayi TAS (BSOKE) also experienced a significant loss, closing down 9.09%.
