"I don’t think it’s going to start again. I think it’s going to go very quickly," Trump said, referencing the previous incidents. "They hit a couple of ships, and so we hit them much harder."
Trump suggested that any potential future engagement would be brief and ultimately enhance regional stability. "Anything that happens is going to be over very quickly ... and will only make it safer, including for oil," he added.
AdDuring his comments, the former president also reiterated a personal claim regarding his standing with Tehran. "I’m number one on the kill list for Iran," he told the reporters.
