TrueDAO Secures $10 Million Led by Brevan Howard Digital for AI-Powered DeFi Infrastructure

TrueDAO, a project developing an AI-driven decentralized financial infrastructure, announced it has closed a $10 million strategic funding round. The investment was led by prominent digital asset fund Brevan Howard Digital, signaling significant institutional interest in the application of artificial intelligence within the DeFi sector.
Investor Backing and Strategic Goals
The funding round also saw participation from Zee Prime Capital and Jump Capital, according to a company statement released via Chainwire. TrueDAO plans to use the capital to build what it describes as a modular financial infrastructure designed to provide liquidity management, risk alerts, and governance support to other ecosystem projects.
The initiative aims to address persistent challenges in the crypto industry, including yield sustainability, risk management, and the transparency of on-chain reserves. The project's core architecture, developed over the past year, utilizes smart contracts, on-chain reserves, and community governance.
Allocation of Funds
TrueDAO has outlined five key areas where the new capital will be deployed:
Ad- Protocol Development: Refining core smart contracts and protocol modules.
- Risk Management: Building AI-driven risk monitoring and stress-testing systems.
- Security: Implementing independent security audits, real-time monitoring, and bug bounty programs.
- Compliance: Advancing legal and compliance assessments across multiple jurisdictions.
- Ecosystem Growth: Releasing developer documentation and expanding partnerships.
Company Outlook and Next Steps
SoLee, Head of Marketing at TrueDAO, emphasized a focus on fundamentals beyond the capital injection. "While capital accelerates development, it cannot replace security, transparent governance, and genuine value creation," SoLee stated. "We remain committed to building an on-chain financial infrastructure that is auditable, verifiable, and governable."
Following the funding, TrueDAO intends to proceed with its testnet launch, security audits, and the release of developer tools. The company noted that specific launch dates, token arrangements, and incentive mechanisms will be subject to future official announcements.
