Background

TrueDAO, a project developing an AI-driven decentralized financial infrastructure, announced it has closed a $10 million strategic funding round. The investment was led by prominent digital asset fund Brevan Howard Digital, with participation from Zee Prime Capital and Jump Capital.

Use of Proceeds

According to the company's announcement, the new capital is earmarked to accelerate the development of its core financial infrastructure. TrueDAO aims to provide a modular system for other blockchain projects, offering services like liquidity and reserve management, risk alerts, and governance support.

The proceeds will be allocated across five key areas:

  • Core Protocol Development: Refining smart contracts and protocol modules.
  • AI-Driven Risk Control: Building advanced risk monitoring and stress-testing systems.
  • Security: Funding independent security audits, real-time monitoring, and bug bounty programs.
  • Compliance: Advancing legal and compliance assessments across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Ecosystem Growth: Releasing developer documentation and expanding partnerships.

Project Goals and Context

TrueDAO was founded a year ago to address persistent challenges in the crypto industry, including yield sustainability, risk management, and transparent governance. The project's goal is to create an on-chain financial system built on smart contracts, on-chain reserves, and AI-powered risk analysis.

"Raising $10 million is a significant milestone, but it is not the finish line," said SoLee, Head of Marketing at TrueDAO, in a statement. "We remain committed to building an on-chain financial infrastructure that is auditable, verifiable, and governable."

Following the funding, TrueDAO plans to proceed with its testnet launch, security audits, and developer tool releases. The company stated that specific details regarding launch dates and token arrangements will be subject to future official announcements.
