Background

TrueDAO, a project developing an AI-driven decentralized financial infrastructure, announced it has closed a $10 million strategic funding round. The investment was led by Brevan Howard Digital and included participation from Zee Prime Capital and Jump Capital, according to a company statement.

Use of Proceeds

The newly secured capital is earmarked to advance the project's core mission of building a modular on-chain financial system. TrueDAO stated the funds will be allocated across five key areas:

  • Core development of its AI protocol and smart contracts.
  • Building AI-powered systems for risk monitoring and stress testing.
  • Conducting independent security audits and implementing bug bounty programs.
  • Advancing legal and compliance assessments across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Expanding ecosystem partnerships and releasing developer documentation.

Project Vision and Market Context

TrueDAO aims to provide a foundational layer for other ecosystem projects, offering services like liquidity management, reserve management, risk alerts, and governance support. The project seeks to address persistent challenges in the decentralized finance space, including sustainable yields, transparent reserves, and efficient risk management.

According to the announcement, the team has been developing its core protocol architecture for the past year. The system is designed to integrate smart contracts, on-chain data, and AI-driven risk analysis to create what the company calls an "auditable, verifiable, and governable" on-chain financial infrastructure.

Next Steps

"Raising $10 million is a significant milestone, but it is not the finish line," said SoLee, Head of Marketing at TrueDAO. "While capital accelerates development, it cannot replace security, transparent governance, and genuine value creation."

Following the funding round, TrueDAO plans to proceed with its testnet launch, further security audits, and the release of developer tools. The company noted that it will disclose protocol operations and reserve data in phases, with specific timelines for token arrangements and other launches to be made in future official announcements.
