The Hashgraph Group Lists AI Identity Tool on IBM Cloud Marketplace

Summary
The Swiss Web3 firm has secured a listing for its Hedera-based IDTrust platform on IBM's cloud catalog, targeting the growing enterprise need to verify autonomous AI agents.
The Hashgraph Group (THG), a Swiss AI and Web3 firm, has listed its AI-agent identity software on IBM's cloud marketplace and entered into a global partnership with the technology giant, according to a report from Investing.com. The move makes THG's Hedera-based solution, IDTrust, directly available to IBM's global enterprise customer base.
Partnership Details
The company’s IDTrust platform has been validated and is now available for purchase on the IBM Cloud Catalog. The listing marks one of the first commercial applications built on Hedera's distributed ledger technology (DLT) to be sold as a service through a major cloud provider.
As part of the broader agreement, THG has qualified for IBM Silver Partner status. The firm also signed an Embedded Solution Agreement, allowing it to build IBM's cloud and artificial intelligence tools directly into its own products.
Addressing 'Know Your Agent' Concerns
IDTrust is designed to address the emerging security challenge of verifying autonomous software, a field known as "Know Your Agent" (KYA). The platform issues verifiable digital identities to AI agents, devices, and people, ensuring that software acting on a company's behalf is authorized to perform tasks like processing sensitive data or executing financial transactions.
Ad"Enterprises are deploying AI agents at scale that can negotiate contracts, process sensitive data, and execute financial transactions autonomously," said Stefan Deiss, co-founder and chief executive of THG, in a statement. "The question everyone is now asking and worried about is: how do I know this agent is authorised to act on my behalf?"
Market Context
The partnership targets a rapidly expanding market for enterprise AI. According to research firm Gartner, 40% of enterprise applications are projected to embed task-specific AI agents by the end of 2026, up from less than 5% in 2025.
IBM has a long-standing relationship with the underlying technology, having been a member of Hedera’s governing council since 2019. THG's IDTrust is already deployed with a European telecommunications operator for verified caller identity.
