An additional 152 issues ended the session unchanged.

Despite the overall market dip, several companies posted significant gains. Standout performers included:
Ad- Welltend Technology Corp (TW:3021): Rose 10.00%
- AMAX Holding Co Ltd (TW:6933): Added 10.00% to reach an all-time high.
- ITEQ Corp (TW:6213): Gained 9.98%, also closing at an all-time high.
On the other end of the spectrum, the session's biggest decliners were led by Formosan Union Chemical Corp (TW:1709), which fell 9.94%. Shin Tai Industry Co Ltd (TW:1235) dropped 8.27%, and Heron Neutron Medical Corp (TW:7799) lost 6.21%.
Currency and Commodities
In currency markets, the U.S. dollar strengthened slightly against the New Taiwan dollar, with the USD/TWD pair rising 0.11% to 31.83. The US Dollar Index Futures, which measures the greenback against a basket of major currencies, was up 0.08% at 100.89. In commodities, December Gold Futures saw a minor decline of 0.11% to trade at $4,313.50 per troy ounce.
