TA 35 Index Ends Tuesday Trading Unchanged Amid Mixed Commodity Signals

Israel's benchmark stock index, the TA 35, finished Tuesday's trading session completely flat, closing with a change of 0.00%, according to data from the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
Market Details
The lack of movement was mirrored in several of the index's constituent stocks. According to session data, key companies ended the day precisely where they started:
- Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ) was unchanged at 714.40.
- Clal Insurance Enterprises Holdings Ltd (TASE:CLIS) closed unchanged at 30,230.00.
- Newmed Energy LP (TASE:NWMDp) finished the session unchanged at 1,715.00.
This widespread lack of price movement points to an unusually static session for the Israeli benchmark and its major components.

In contrast to the equity market, commodity and currency markets saw significant activity. Energy prices declined, with Crude Oil futures for December delivery falling 1.50% to $100.23 a barrel. Brent oil for January delivery also dropped 0.97% to $109.67 a barrel.
Precious metals moved higher, as the December Gold Futures contract gained 0.94% to trade at $4,076.50 a troy ounce. In the foreign exchange market, the Israeli shekel showed strength. The USD/ILS pair fell 1.73% to 3.02, while the EUR/ILS pair declined 2.04% to 3.37. Meanwhile, the US Dollar Index Futures, which tracks the dollar against a basket of currencies, rose 0.28%.
