The downturn was primarily led by underperformance in sectors sensitive to the economic cycle, including Basic Materials, Industrials, and Consumer Goods, according to data from Investing.com.

Despite the index's slight dip, several companies posted significant gains, highlighting a mixed session for investors.
Ad- Top Performers: Investment firm EQT AB was the session's standout gainer, surging 11.02%. It was followed by defense and aerospace company SAAB AB, which rose sharply by 9.73%, and lock manufacturer ASSA ABLOY AB, which added 4.94%.
- Notable Decliners: On the downside, industrial companies faced heavy pressure. Engineering group Sandvik AB was the worst performer on the index, falling 9.33%. Mining equipment maker Epiroc AB declined 6.00%, and bearing manufacturer AB SKF saw its shares drop by 5.64%.

In the broader financial markets, energy prices moved higher, with WTI Crude oil futures rising over 3% to trade around $81.43 per barrel. Gold futures also saw gains, rising 0.76% to $4,022.25 a troy ounce.
In currency markets, the Swedish krona was little changed against the euro, with the EUR/SEK pair holding at 11.03. The krona weakened slightly against the U.S. dollar, as the USD/SEK pair rose 0.13% to 9.64, reflecting a minor gain in the US Dollar Index.
