- Email Summarization: Users can ask Grok to summarize lengthy conversations, identifying key decisions, action items, and pending replies.
- Inbox Organization: The add-in can process multiple emails to archive completed conversations, filter unwanted messages, and flag emails that require a response.
- Intelligent Composition: Grok can expand brief user notes into fully-formed email replies that match the user's writing style. It can also draft new messages and adjust tone, subject lines, and recipients upon request.
AdImportantly, all AI-generated messages remain in draft form until the user reviews and manually sends them, maintaining user control over all outgoing communication.
Broader Microsoft 365 Integration
The integration extends beyond email. SpaceXAI stated the tool is also available for other key applications in the Microsoft 365 suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. This positions Grok as a direct competitor to other AI-powered productivity assistants embedded in workplace software, such as Microsoft's own Copilot.
