Scribe Therapeutics Files for IPO, Targeting $100 Million Raise

Biotechnology firm Scribe Therapeutics Inc. has filed for an initial public offering (IPO), seeking to raise approximately $100 million to fund its operations. The company announced its intention to list on the Nasdaq Global Market under the ticker symbol SCTX.
Offering Details
According to a company press release, Scribe Therapeutics plans to offer 7,150,000 shares of its common stock to the public. The firm has set an anticipated price range for the offering at $13.00 to $15.00 per share.
At the $14.00 midpoint of this range, the gross proceeds from the IPO would total just over $100 million before underwriting discounts and commissions. The final closing of the offering remains contingent upon the successful completion of the Nasdaq listing requirements.
AdMarket Context
For a company in the capital-intensive biotechnology sector, an IPO is a standard pathway to secure significant funding for research, clinical trials, and commercialization efforts. The move to public markets will provide Scribe with access to a broader pool of capital and offer liquidity to early investors.
A consortium of investment banks is managing the deal. Leerink Partners, Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, Guggenheim Securities, and Wells Fargo Securities are serving as the underwriters for the offering.
